How to check eFileMadeEasy Reporting

Reports can be critical to your internal office procedures.  Our reporting tool allows you to follow all of the filings made for any client during a current period.  This can be important to law office management for recovery of costs and time management.

   Quick Instructions

Running a report exhibits consists of:
  1. Open eFileMadeEasy
  2. Click on the Tools menu item.
  3. Select Reporting
  4. Input the beginning and end dates for the reporting period and Generate the report
  5. Once the report is generated with eFileMadeEasy, you import the CSV (comma delimited) file to your accounting software or other database.

HELPFUL TIP:  Run a report at least monthly to keep track of all pleadings filed and for billing costs.


Selecting the TOOLS>REPORTING menu item will open the reporting window.  Simply select the reporting items and click the GENERATE button. This will generate the report requested.   You can run reports by date and limit the report by various items available.  For example you can run a report for 06/01/2019 - 06/15/2019 and then limit the report by the filing attorney.

Notice that once the report is generated a CREATE CSV button will appear.  This will allow you to download a CSV file (knows as a comma delimited file) which can be imported by any accounting software (i.e. Quickbooks, TABS, etc.) or into an Excel Spreadsheet.  See Figure 2.

Clicking on any column will sort the report using that information.  For example, clicking on the CRT_CASE_NO column will sort the data by the Case Numbers.  Similarly clicking on the PARTIES will sort the report alphabetically by the parties.

Once you get the CSV file into your accounting you can manipulate the data any way you determine to be used by your accounting program of choice.

That's it.  You now have total control over the reporting, use, and cost aspect of eFileMadeEasy.
