eServeMadeEasy is designed to allow quick and easy filing with the Florida Department of Insurance, Legal Service of Process (LSOP).  By simply dropping the summons into eServeMadeEasy we will serve your pleadings to LSOP.

1.  Contact eFileMadeEasy to set up an eServeMadeEasy Account.

2.  You will receive an email confirming the account and including user credentials.

3.  Go to https://eservemadeeasy.com/ and enter the user and password you received

4.  Set up your DFS account filing by entering your LSOP credentials.  Click on "Update DFS Credentials" in the upper right hand corner and enter your credentials for the LSOP site.  NOTE: You only need to do this once and the information will be saved.  However, if you change your LSOP credentials you will need to update them in eServeMadeEasy.

5.  Simple drop the issued summons into the upload bucket.  Most of the time our service will find the case for you automatically. 

          a) If it finds the case for you simply hit the SUBMIT button. 

          b) If it does not find your case enter the SEQUENCE NUMBER ONLY into the sequence field.  The sequence number are the 6 digits of the case number, not the year.

Once you find the case and the summons is in, hit the SUBMIT button.  The summons will automatically be joined with the pleadings from the new suit you filed and served to LSOP.

6.  Check your reporting for the status of the filings or wait a reasonable time before proceeding.  YOU ONLY HAVE SEVEN (7) DAYS TO PAY FOR THE FILINGS.  LSOP deletes the files from the basket after 7 days of submission.

7.  The last step if for you to pay for the files in LSOP.  When you log into LSOP, you will see that all of the files are, "in the basket" waiting for payment.  Simply pay for all of the files in LSOP to be served.

8.  eFileMadeEasy will even retrieve the Returns of Service for you and file them with the Florida ePortal.
